These terms describe the intended use of the website and its public calculators and planners. The service provides general information and estimates to support planning, not a professional assessment of your property or project.
Using results
You may use the tools to explore projects and compare options. Check your inputs, units, assumptions, and results before making a purchase or starting work. A calculated quantity or budget is not a supplier quote, product guarantee, or confirmation of compliance with building requirements.
Results can contain errors or omit factors specific to your space. Obtain appropriate professional advice for decisions involving safety, regulated work, or significant expenditure.
Responsible access
Do not attempt unauthorized access to accounts, stored messages, or site systems. Do not submit malicious code, send spam, or make requests intended to disrupt the service or prevent others from using it.
When contacting the site, send information relevant to your question and avoid disclosing private information about other people. Report a suspected security problem without accessing or sharing data that is not yours.
Availability and external services
Tools and content may be corrected, changed, or withdrawn, and access may be interrupted for maintenance or technical reasons. Keep your own project notes rather than relying on the website to preserve a result.
External links and any enabled advertising lead to services with their own terms and privacy practices. An advertisement or link is not verification of a product, installer, or claim.
Questions and applicable rights
Use the contact page if these terms or a tool explanation are unclear. These terms do not seek to exclude rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
